This one day course includes two units of competency from the National Skills set.
The first unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to maintain food safety when carrying out work tasks including basic food safety practices include personal hygiene and conduct, food handling, housekeeping and waste disposal related to work tasks and responsibilities.
The second unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to maintain personal hygiene and conduct food handling, housekeeping and waste disposal related to work tasks and responsibilities where work involves operation of production and/or packaging equipment and processes.
